Cameron is a writer and editor living in New Orleans. She holds an MFA from the University of New Orleans, where she received the Samuel Mockbee Award in Non-Fiction. Cameron has received scholarships and grants from The University of New Orleans and The New York State Summer Writers Institute at Skidmore College, and was a 2020 finalist for the Smokelong Quarterly Fellowship for Emerging Writers.
She also writes about travel and entertainment for places like SAVEUR, Cosmopolitan, and Fodors.com.
Cameron’s fiction has appeared in American Short Fiction Online, The Best Small Fictions 2017, and elsewhere. She is currently at work on a collection of short stories.
